The WiBAS product range from Intracom Telecom is the most capable Broadband Wireless Access system available today.
The system offers exceptional capacity of 135Mbit/s sector and ranges of up to 10km. Adaptive modulation and modulation schemes of upto 64QAM mean that the capacity is enough to support many more customer terminals than would usually be the case.
Available in frequencies of 3.5GHz, 10GHz 26GHz and 28GHz the WiBAS family has been designed to offer cost effective solutions for small medium and large deployments.
TDM, ATM and IP services can all be carried on the same platform and can be mixed on a per link basis. GbE and SDH interfaces are available on the base station as well as E1's for connection back into the network.
Suited to both customer access as well as cellular backhaul, the WiBAS family is now being deployed throughout Western Europe.
