The IDR-LC is a low cost, high frequency radio system from Intracom Telecom. It offers a maximum data rate of 34Mbit/s and is available in frequencies from 7GHz to 38GHz:-
The simple 1U indoor unit is available in three variants giving E1 and Ethernet interfaces:-
- Low cost 4 x E1
- Low cost Ethernet
- Hybrid flexible 16 x E1 and Ethernet interfaces
The indoor unit is connected to the same Intracom ODU-HP as used on the high capacity ISR radio system so that mixed PDH/SDH/GbE networks all use a common RF unit minimising inventory and spares holding.
