Westica can supply one of the most complete ranges of microwave radio equipment of any telecoms supplier. From our 400MHz UHF Digilink to our class leading high capacity (2 x 400MBit/s) ISR system, every Westica and Intracom radio product comes with the same commitment to engineering quality and customer support.
Radios with inbuilt multiplexer capability offering POTS, 4 wire E&M signalling and asynchronous data services are available with the higher rate ISR system having an inbuilt Add Drop Multiplexer (ADM) function to allow advanced networking in SDH networks.
Most products are available with Ethernet interfaces to meet the requirements of todays IP world. Fast Ethernet is available on all low and medium capacity systems (MBR2200 and IDR-LC) with GigaBit Ethernet (GbE) available on the ISR product range.
With 400Mbit/s being available on a single carrier (ISR) and the ability to support multiple polarisations on a single antenna, very high data rate links can be constructed in a very short space of time.
Recently launched, the Intracom WiBAS system is one of the most exciting products in the Westica portfolio. Operating at 10, 26 and 28GHz the system can give capacities of upto 135Mbit/s sector and has advanced IP service delivery protocols. The system has been shown to be more cost effective than multiple point to point systems in both cellular backhaul and business access applications.
The radio products are supplemented by a range of small multiplexers and partner products and can be supplied with integrated or stand alone antenna systems.
Advanced management platforms are of course valuable for all products and the flexible nature of the software means that packages optimised for small, medium and large network deployments can be specified to ensure cost effectiveness whatever the application.
